Most of the food is made on site including donuts, kettle corn, homemade lemonade, roasted almonds, nachos, boardwalk fries, BBQ, soft serve ice cream, local rootbeer, salads, and gourmet sandwiches.  Fall activities are open from mid-September to early November. Tickets are online only for both events and are frequently sold out. They have staff numbers at 40-50 people year-round, peaking at 850 during the fall.  Cox Farms builds almost all of the structures and attractions and work on the fall events year round.

Started in 1972, they are a family owned, second generation managed business.  In the spring and summer, a small amount of summer crops like tomatoes and peppers are grown along with vegetables, herb plants and hanging baskets in a small greenhouse. These items retail from our corner market in the spring and summer during their Smoking Saturday event, which features food, live music, field games, and a hayride to Foamhenge.   Over the years, the company evolved from focusing on field crops to managing a mid-sized greenhouse, retailing Christmas trees, growing fall activities and starting the haunted attraction. Now 98% of revenue is generated in the fall.
